How did Passion to Proclaim begin?

I created Passion to Proclaim when I was a fresh high school graduate. As I reflect upon that season in my life, I see how broken I was. But Christ in His loving-kindness picked up every single piece of me that was shattered. I was the type of student that stayed so busy as a form of distraction. I never wanted to face my problems or my emotions, I wanted to live life distracted. I was a perfectionist, the president of every club, the 4.0 GPA student, the one who got all A's, the one who had so many friends, the one who made sure she had as many extracurricular activities as she could. Once I graduated, all of these things that I thought gave me value and purpose were gone. I was empty, hallow, and no longer distracted. I was forced to face the pain I hid so well. I was forced to reflect on the trauma I buried. This led me into a depression spiral. I felt so numb and lifeless. To make things even more difficult, there were so many family issues unfolding. Division was the only thing surrounding me. All of those friends I had in high school were nowhere to be found. So, that left me alone with God. For the first time, I picked up my Bible by myself. I opened it and started reading. For the first time! After spending my entire life claiming to be a Christ follower, my brokenness blessed me with the desire to actually know Him. The rest is history. Once I opened my Bible that day, I never stopped reading. My lifeless, hallow, and empty heart was born again. I learned of the true gospel and became a regenerate Christ follower. I decided to create Passion to Proclaim to share what God was and is teaching me through the canon of Scripture. I created this space to encourage women to learn more about Christ and to ensure them, they are not alone. Passion to Proclaim is my offering to the Lord. This space is His, I am merely a vessel for His glory.

The PTP Way

Christ came to reconcile us to Himself. Christ lived a sinless life, died on the cross bearing our sins, and conquered the grave. He drank the cup of God's wrath, taking on the punishment we deserve. Because of Christ's atonement, we are found free from the bondage of sin. The gospel is good news—the good news of what God has done in Jesus Christ.

Salvation is the gift of eternal life through Christ Jesus. One receives this gift by faith alone. NOT WORKS. First we must hear the gospel, believe the gospel, and repent (turn from our old ways to pursue Christ).

The Trinity is such a massive topic within the Christian church. Because the topic is so extensive, I will link a theologically sound website, explaining with Scripture what the Trinity is and why it is a  Biblically sound theological principle.
